ResinTech RexPlus Anion NIP is a high-performance, strong-base anion exchange resin designed for efficient removal of anions such as chloride, sulfate, nitrate, fluoride, bicarbonate, and silica from water. This resin is particularly effective in applications requiring high-purity water, including municipal water treatment, industrial processes, and food and beverage production.
Manufactured by Ion Exchange India Ltd., RexPlus Anion NIP features a cross-linked polystyrene matrix with quaternary ammonium functional groups. These functional groups are less strongly basic than those in Type 1 resins, resulting in higher regeneration efficiency and lower operating costs. The resin's isoporous structure enhances its capacity for natural organic matter present in some surface waters and provides excellent resistance to poisoning by this organic matter.
The resin is supplied in granular form with an effective size ranging from 0.45 to 0.55 mm and a total exchange capacity of at least 1.2 meq/ml. It operates effectively within a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C.
